What is the best hotel to stay in when visiting London?

By admin • November 2, 2009 • Filed in: Best Hotel

A couple of friends as well as we have been formulation a eighth month to London, as well as we was wondering that is a most appropriate road house to stay at. Price doesn’t unequivocally matter, as well as we’re seeking for something some-more upscale as well as fancy.

My hubby and I went to London in Sept 2005 and we stayed at a lovely B&B in Belgravia called Cartref House.

Derek and Sharon were fabulous hosts and served the most scrumptious full English breakfasts every morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The prices were not terribly stiff, either, especially considering you’re within walking distance of Victoria Station and Buckingham Palace.

One word of warning, though – if you have difficulty climbing narrow, steep stairs this may not be the place for you.

The Ritz all the way! Fancy fancy fancy, it is in Mayfair just a few blocks from Bond Street and Old Bond Street which have all the most expensive stores in London. I have never had the pleasure of actually staying there but my ex-boyfriend lived right down the street and I walked by it almost daily. Check it out on their website:

It also depends on wher you want to stay and what value for money you want from your stay. You may be staying in the best hotel, but it may not be the best value for you.

Here’s a great list of the major 5 star hotels in London with special offers, which you can sort by price, location , star rating, last minute or year round.

In addition to what’s been listed, I’ve also heard good things about the Savoy.

Check http://www.hilton.co.uk website, they have a lovely hotel in Rotherhithe, in one of the suburbs in South East London. If you want to stay in Central London, they have plenty to choose from. Hilton Hyde Park is a fine option.
