Generally, I stick with the sites I've found to be reliable in the past - I do a lot of travel. I sometimes use Expedia (particularly in the US), but for hotels in the Netherlands, I always use - http://www.hotels.nl/. For here in Italy and many other places in Europe, I use - http://www.venere.com/home/. I'm sure there are other good sites, but see no reason to change given the reliability and good experiences I've had with these. I've done comparisons between prices offered by various sites from time to time and haven't really seen a big difference most of the time.
